Who am I?

I am in my final semester here at Hunter. I am beyond excited to be finishing up, however must admit I am also nervous about what lies ahead. I love books and I love to write. As a media consumer I try to stay up to date, however I often find that I am a little out of the loop. Until recently I had no clue who John and Kate were. My presence online is rather small. I facebook, but rarely update my status. I don't get the point of twitter, which is probably due to a lack of knowledge concerning it's purpose. I enjoy reading the New York Times and US weekly equally. It's amazing to me how prevalent media is in my life and the different ways my thoughts and views are affected by it. Commercials and ads, television shows, movies, news, magazines and the internet are constantly entertaining me and forcing me to question everything.
