Who I am

I hate this question. Its especially hard to answer when you don't really know, but I'll try. My name is Matt and I'm a senior here at Hunter. Its my fifth year of school so I guess I'm a super senior, but regrettably have no powers. I'm a media major and am hoping that when I leave school that has some kind of meaning in the world. I'm hoping to become a video editor in life, preferably for narrative features or television, but I guess I'm open to whatever comes along. As for how media relates to my life, I do involve myself in online social networking. I have a facebook and a myspace (though its definitley more of the forgotten child of social networks), but that's pretty much where it ends. I tend more to like being a voyer and watch movies and television, and learn what I can about production from them. However, my exposure to porduction has not be all through a screen, I spent this past summer on the set of some music videos and television intervews interning, which turned into some PA work, gaffing and gripping to an extant, and some post production work, which was great. I also have some interest in graphic arts and animation, and have worked on some of my projects in that respect. All in all I still feel like a student, with eagerness teamed with uncertainty in flexing my creative wings.
