Who am I? For starters, I am a twenty two year old college student who is desperate to graduate and work full time. I am an individual who takes work and school very seriously. I worry pretty much about everything in my life from work, school, boyfriend relationship, etc. I am craving for a vacation to Aruba, Puerto Rico, or somewhere in the Caribbean. I hope and pray that I will obtain success in the future to travel the world.
In reference to my future, I am not exactly sure what specific career I would like to pursue in the media field. What I am positive about is that I love Media. I am addicted to watching television crime shows, comedies, and movies. We live in a world filled with images, advertisements, instant communication, etc. The internet has captivated all of us with its social network sites such as Facebook, twitter, and its easy accessibility of searching and finding information. I am online almost everyday of my life and I can not picture my life without my laptop or television.
One is very susceptible to becoming absorbed by the power and influence of the Media. Images and messages delivered on television play a role in forming opinions on social situations. Advertisements somehow brainwash us to believe that the particular item or clothing is what one should purchase. I love to shop and look at the celebrity magazines to see the outfits of my favorite celebs.
It is my last year at Hunter and I am hoping to obtain an internship during my upcoming Spring semester to obtain experience and hopefully aid me towards my path of self discovery.
Who do I think I am? I am a college student who loves Media and hopes to obtain the right job in the future.
